Inaugural Class of 2009

Erica Andersen is a Business Relationship Officer for Veridian Credit Union in West Des Moines. Her role at the credit union includes developing and enhancing relationships with business members in the Des Moines area.  You will often see her out in the community representing Veridian at various community, business and educational functions. Veridian Credit Union, founded in 1934 in Waterloo, Iowa, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members. Veridian Credit Union serves over 150,000 members with 26 branches in the Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo areas.

Erica earned her B.S. in Finance from Iowa State University in 2008. She has worked in the credit union industry for the last eight years. Erica serves on the Board of Directors for several local organizations including the West Des Moines Leadership Academy, Young Professionals of Iowa, and New View, West Des Moines Young Professionals’ group.  She is a past member of the West Des Moines Chamber Board of Directors.

Erica and her husband Jason reside in West Des Moines and enjoy Iowa Hawkeye football, spending time with family and friends, and their two English Bulldogs, Duke and Diesel.
