Karen Hallagin
Inaugural Class of 2009
Karen Hallagin joined the West Glen Town Center executive team with an extensive background in finance and operations accounting. Prior to beginning her efforts leading the development for the West Glen community, Karen worked for a multi-state construction company where her responsibilities included contract negotiations, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
As Chief Operating Officer for West Glen, Karen oversees retailer procurement, construction design, master planning specific to the design of area developments, strategic planning for market positioning, tenant relations, financing, leasing and events.
A graduate of Kansas State University with a Masters in Accounting, Karen has taught advanced accounting classes to college students at Upper Iowa University and American Institute of Business. Karen and her husband Lee have two children. Karen also enjoys volunteering and has received recognition for her work with various local school fundraising efforts.
