Class of 2010

Erik Bonstrom, CPA, joined LWBJ Financial in 2003 and has over 7 years of public accounting experience. Erik serves as the senior audit manager and takes the lead on many consulting engagements. Erik has worked extensively with manufacturing, technology, real estate and publically-traded companies. In working with these clients, Erik has focused on issues such as inventory, complex equity transactions, derivatives, fair value measurements and establishing internal controls. Additionally, Erik has consulted with publically-traded clients on the implementation of internal control over financial reporting required under Sarbanes Oxley Section 404. Erik has also assisted clients with implementation of recent accounting pronouncements and provided research on many complex transactions.

Erik Bonstrom graduated with a BSBA in Accounting from Thomas Edison State College. He is the assistant treasurer at his church, treasurer of the Bull Moose Club and a past member of Rotary.

Erik and his wife Holly live in Waukee with their three children: Lucas (5), Hillary (3), and Ethan (2). In addition to spending time with his family, Erik enjoys running, golfing, fishing, hunting and working on house projects.
