Class of 2010

Ronda is a Human Resources Administrator with the City of West Des Moines. She started with the City in February, 2006, as the Human Resources Secretary then became the Human Resources Administrative Assistant before being promoted to her current position. Prior to her employment with the City of West Des Moines, Ronda worked for non-profit organizations in Illinois and Iowa.

Ronda was born and raised in a small town in Illinois. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Western Illinois University where she graduated with honors in 1997. In December, 2008, she received her designation of Professional in Human Resources from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). She is also a local and national member of SHRM.

Ronda and her husband, Brett, have been married for twelve years. Shortly after getting married, they moved to Iowa, and they have been residents of West Des Moines since 1999. They have a five year old son, Liam, who just started school this year at Fairmeadows.

In her spare time, Ronda enjoys working out, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
