Scott Brennan
Class of 2010
Scott Brennan is a senior shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm in the Litigation Division. Scott has been recognized as a Great Plains Super Lawyer and an Iowa Super Lawyer. Effectively representing clients in both state and federal court, Scott handles business litigation, construction litigation, administrative matters and an array of other litigation matters. His clients span the range from individuals to multi-national corporations. Scott serves in leadership positions in his profession, including recently completing a term as the President of the Polk County Bar Association, the state’s largest county-wide attorney association, and he currently serves on the Iowa State Bar Association’s Board of Governors.
Civic involvement has also been important to Scott. He gives his time on the Boards of Directors of the Fort Des Moines Museum and Education Center and Link Associates. Additionally, Scott is the Chair of the Polk County Compensation Board and recently completed a successful two-year term as Chair of the Iowa Democratic Party.
A native of Indianola, Scott and his wife, Elizabeth, who was just elected to the West Des Moines School Board, have two children, Alexandra and Joseph.
