Class of 2011

I am the Assistant Regional Manager for Great Southern Bank overseeing the operations and sales of eighteen banks in Iowa and Nebraska. In addition to my Assistant Regional Manager role, I also manage the Jordan Creek Banking Center located in West Des Moines.

I began my banking career eight years ago as a teller and have been with Great Southern for the last four years. I recently relocated to West Des Moines two months ago accepting a transfer and promotion with Great Southern Bank. I have a passion for working with people and I am very fortunate to love my career.

I have been actively pursuing my degree in Business Management part-time over the last few years while working full-time. While this can be very challenging, I am extremely eager to earn my degree and hold great value in my college education.

I have always been active in the chamber of commerce and have reaped many professional and personal rewards from the involvement.

I enjoy spending summers at my family's lake house, reading fiction, traveling, writing, and spending time with parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and friends.

I believe the greatest things in life are achieved through hard work and perseverance. I've experienced rejection and failures throughout my life but believe nothing can compare to really deserving your dreams. I rely on quotes and motivational readings daily to energize my mind.

Music is a big inspiration in my life. I have a large collection of various genres and find music to be very moving and relaxing. I make it a priority to have fun, laugh often and not take life too seriously. I have a deep commitment to living a life of service and appreciate the significance of giving back to my community. My motto is...."I look to my future because that is where I am going to spend the rest of my life."
