Class of 2011

I am currently an Audit Supervisor at McGowen, Hurst, Clark & Smith, P.C. in West Des Moines.

I grew up in the small town of Dike, Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa where I earned my degree in Accounting with a minor in Ethics. After college I moved to West Des Moines and began my career at Ernst & Young, LLC in 2006. In April 2008, I transitioned from E&Y to MHC&S, and have greatly enjoyed working and living in West Des Moines. I perform audit services for a number of clients in the West Des Moines area.

Coming from a small town, I have always enjoyed volunteering my time and getting involved in the community in which I live. As a new member of the West Des Moines community only 6 years ago, I have worked each year to become more and more involved. In the current year, I have been actively involved in the West Des Moines Chamber, the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Grimes Chamber of Commerce, and Kaplan University's Advisory Board. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to get involved.

In my free time I enjoy golfing, camping and socializing with family and friends.
