Eric Spacek
Class of 2011
Eric Spacek is Senior Risk Manager at GuideOne Insurance in West Des Moines where he is responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic risk management programs for GuideOne's 43,000 religious institution customers. Previously, Eric worked as a trial attorney for 11 years in Washington, DC, and as a church business administrator in North Carolina.
Eric volunteers as a youth basketball and baseball couch in the community and serves on the Iowa Prayer Breakfast Committee. He has been actively involved in a number of church boards and has a passion for keeping churches safe.
Eric, his wife Jennifer, and their three children reside in West Des Moines. Aside from youth sports, they enjoy camping, biking, fitness, and being outdoors.
