Class of 2011
I have an Education background that I have been able to use in every position that I have had in the last 20 + years. I have worked with Hy-Vee Food Stores as a training coordinator and assistant manager in several departments.
Achieving a Culinary degree, I have been able to showcase not only culinary skills but also professionalism through mentoring students at DMACC and at Central Campus High School. I am an avid supporter of the DMACC French Chefs exchange program and the culinary advisory board.
As an independent business owner I have been active with civic organizations through the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary International. Through my positions at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse I have been supportive to local charities and community events such as Winefest, Girl Scouts, Blank Children's Hospital, Susan G Komen Society, MDA, Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chamber of Commerce for West Des Moines and Urbandale, Swinefest and many others.
