Class of 2011

Kristen joined West Bank in July of 2007 as First Vice President. With nine years of commercial and private banking experience, Kristen is a Commercial Banker with a focus on the community and new business development for the bank.

She also administers the bank's SBA loan program and volunteers time educating potential business owners on the financial aspects of business start-up.

Kristen and her husband Brad reside in Granger with teenage sons, Matthew and Jason, and two dogs and a cat. She enjoys boating, gardening, bird watching, cooking, reading, beading, sewing and painting for relaxation.

Kristen serves on the Walnut Creek YMCA Board of Directors, has been active in the United Way for several years chairing and co-chairing the bank's annual pledge campaign and is a member of The Bridge Campus of Meredith Drive Reformed Church and the Downtown Des Moines Kiwanis Organization.

Kristen is a Des Moines native and a DMACC graduate. She returned to her beloved hometown in 2005 after 19 1/2 years living in the South including St. Louis, Gainesville and Jacksonville FL and Memphis, TN.
