Shelly Murray

Shelly Murray is the Practice Administrator for Dermatology, P.C., a private practice dermatology clinic located in West Des Moines and Ankeny. Shelly has been with Dermatology, P.C. for over 10 years, having joined them after 6 years as a clinic manager or Iowa Health Physicians. Her main professional responsibilities include: strategic planning, financial and business development, recruitment and credentialing of medical professionals, accounting, medical billing, and human resources.
Under Shelly's leadership, Dermatology, P.C. has expanded from 17 employees including 2 physicians to a practice of 78 total employees including 4 physicians and 7 nurse practitioners / physician assistants. During her tenure they have also added an office in Ankeny and outreach clinics in Chariton and Winterset.
Shelly was born and raised in the Madison Wisconsin area and moved to West Des Moines with her husband Bill in 1993. Shelly and Bill recently celebrated their 15 year wedding anniversary. They have two dogs, Maya and Madison.
In her free time Shelly enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, and outdoor activities.
